They say “nobody’s perfect.” This means that everyone makes mistakes. But sometimes small mistakes can be very important – even in spelling!

For example, Australia released a new $50 bill in October 2018. However, it became famous around the world when, six months later, it was found that the word “responsibility” was spelled “responsibilty.” About 400 million of the bills had already been made.

US President Donald Trump is famous for making spelling mistakes on Twitter. From writing “hamberders” instead of “hamburgers” to spelling his wife’s name “Melanie” instead of “Melania,” there are many examples.
