About 78 percent of Ugandans are under 30 years old, but it’s difficult for many of those young people to get good jobs. However, the government has decided that Ugandan schools will teach Mandarin Chinese, which may lead to better job opportunities.


China is a major trade partner and investor in Africa, and many countries are encouraging their citizens to learn what is considered by many to be the language of the future.
