When to categorize faulty verbs under Conjugation and when to catergorize it under Inappropriate Words.
VERBS UNDER CONJUGATION:
1. Verb tenses
Changing the tense of a verb is placed under conjugation.
Example: I PLAY in the park yesterday.
2. Subject-Verb Agreement
Errors in SVA is placed under conjugation.
Example: He ARE singing.
3. Verbals (participles, gerunds, and infinitives)
Participles – a word formed from a verb and used as an adjective or a noun.
Example 1: She suffered from a BROKE heart.
broke: broken (participle)
Gerund – a form that is derived from a verb but that functions as a noun, in English ending in -ing
Example 2: SWIM is easy.
Swim: Swimming (gerund)
Infinitive – a verb form that functions as a noun or is used with auxiliary verbs, and that names the action or state without specifying the subject
Example 3: I want GET a high score.
get: to get (infinitive)
VERBS UNDER INAPPROPRIATE WORDS:
Place a verb under inappropriate words when changing it to a completely new verb.
Example 1: I WATCH computer games.
Example 2: Let’s MAKE hiking.
